They have come up with a new economic stimulus plan for local folks. Vince Aiello and the boys and girls of the Discovery Bay Country Club have developed a plan so that, if you have time or money left over from your other activities, you won’t anymore. It’s called “poker night.”
Hundreds of bikers will take to the back roads of St. Tammany on April 5 for the 5th Annual “Cruisin’ for a Cure,” a poker run hosted by the Northshore chapter of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club.
The Mighty Hopefuls Relay For Life team will hold a fundraiser poker tournament Friday, March 27, at the Eagles Club on Main Street in Lead. The event will feature Texas Hold ‘dm at 7 p.m. with a $10 charitable donation. There will be prizes, and proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society through the Lawrence County Relay For Life in Spearfish June 19-20.
